Chinese rank badge, for Chinese and Japanese history hw. We had to create our own designs, which i thought had to be fairly accurate. . .turns out we could have done personal animals and interpretations boo. Woulda done a Char-roc green bird instead had that been the case.

Anyway, silver pheasant, for I think the 5th degree official. Correct me if I'm wrong; I have it somewhere but don't feel like looking it up. I like the bird, but the background could have been so much more detailed. The waves at the bottom are banded in the final, but that was in marker, which I don't have a copy of. The lines were actually all in pen, which I scanned into photoshop and changed the colors. Unfortunately, it just has this fake look that makes it feel like it was done full digital.
